Return Policy


Purchased items may be returned in perfect condition up to 7 days after their initial receipt for store credit, less initial shipping costs. Buyer must pay return shipping fees. Please contact us to initiate the return process at 

hello@subjectfield.store at earliest convenience. Sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.



Terms of Service


Shipping


—Sometimes we need up to 10 business days for fulfillment, it isn’t likely, but we’re a small company. Thanks in advance for your understanding.


—We charge flat fees for shipping. U.S. shipping charges for most items are $10 for the first item and $6 for each additional item. Canada shipping charges for most items are $15 for the first item and $10 for each additional item. Bulkier items, and items that require FedEx shipping for insurance purposes, carry slightly higher shipping fees.


—Flat fee only applies to items purchased in a single transaction, no exceptions.


—Free flat rate shipping in the lower 48 contiguous states is available for purchases over $100, and international shipping for purchases over $250. However, this may exclude some oversized or heavy items, as well as unusual shipping requirements and we reserve the right to refuse free shipping in the case of these specific circumstances and may contact you directly to arrange additional payment for postage.


—In some cases, items are shipped directly from the designer, so shipping methods may vary. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for shipping, or longer if specified for made-to-order pieces with special lead times.




Uncollected packages


Shipping costs and duties for uncollected packages will not be paid by Subject Field.

*Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to pick up the package from the postal station within the holding period. In the case where the package is left unclaimed and is shipped back to us, the customer is responsible for the shipping charge incurred for the delivery, as well as the shipping cost and duties charged to Subjectfield.store by the carrier for the return delivery.




Lost or Damaged Items


You understand and agree that Subject Field shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the shipping services we provide. All items are purchased at your own risk. Any damage caused from shipping is to be taken up by you with the shipping company. Subject Field will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company as needed. Once this information is provided to you, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact the shipping company. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.




Customs and VAT


—For all orders shipped outside the U.S., be aware that our prices do not account for VATs or other customs duties that may be added by your country upon receipt, so please educate yourself about potential costs and delivery delays before placing your order. Unfortunately Subject Field cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or delivery delays your package may incur.

E-mail Communications:

Subject Field uses MailChimp to manage our mailing list and send out emails. Personal Information is transferred to MailChimp in order for the mailing list to work properly. Your Personal Information is only used for the proper sending out of email. MailChimp will not use this Personal Information for any other purpose, and will not transfer or sell your Personal Information to any other third party. You may unsubscribe from Subject Field’s mailing list at any time, by following the link at the bottom of all Subject Field’s emails. A Logged-in User may also unsubscribe from the mailing list by adjusting their mailing list preferences on their account page.


Using the internet and it’s risks

Subject Field will try all its efforts to ensure third parties will not access or obtain your Personal Information through your use of the Subject Field website, complete confidentiality and security cannot currently be guaranteed on the Internet. Communication via the Internet is subject to interception, loss, or alteration. You acknowledge and agree that Subject Field cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from the transmission of confidential information or Personal Information over the Internet and that such communications are at your own risk.

Subject Field, and / or its respective officers, directors, owners, officials, partners, partnerships, principals, employees, affiliates and other related entities, servants, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the misuse of any information collected by any third party, or any misuse of any information collected through the Subject Field website not in violation of the Policy.

All credit card information is processed by Shopify.. We believe that they appropriately protect your information but you should review their practices at www.shopify.com. We endeavor to protect the privacy of your Personal Information we hold in our records, but we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. The Site may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site you should read that site’s privacy policy.




Changes to this privacy policy


We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. You are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use the Site after such changes have been first posted.
